Please note you will not be registered to attend unless you complete registration and payment .It is  advisable to book your hotel when paying for registration as the discounted rates are only available for a short period oftime. Welcome to the online conference registration and submission site offered by the Regional Studies Association. You can:

a) Register and pay to attend the conference

b) Submit an abstract (by April 6th 2014) for inclusion in the conference programme. In the event that your abstract is not chosen for inclusion in the programme, you will be offered a full refund.

If you wish for your paper to be entered into the International Best Paper Award, or the International Early Career Award, then please ensure your full paper is uploaded by Monday 19th May 2014. The paper can be of any lengh and include images, graphics and maps.

The Regional Studies Association works with its international membership to facilitate the highest standards of theoretical development, empirical analysis and policy debate of issues at this sub-national scale, incorporating both the urban and rural and different conceptions of space such as city-regions and interstitial spaces. We are, for example, interested in issues of economic development and growth, conceptions of territory and its governance and in thorny problems of equity and injustice.
